The Strike

A short and very random storm rolled into the valley this morning so I decided to pack my gear and head right at it. I mounted my 50mm on a tripod, pointed it towards a very promising cloud and let the camera run at 60 frames per second, hoping a lightning would strike on frame. After about 45 mins, this happened.
